Perfect Dodge

Once, we woke up with the desire to create an infinite dodger, a simple game which is easy to learn and pleasant to play at any time, at any place. We picked up our ingredients and we merged them according to our recipe: simple and nervous gameplay, neon style and energizing musics.​

Basically, Perfect Dodge allows you to control a little character which moves on a grid of 3x3. The only thing you have to do is move it to dodge the enemies which try to destroy you. Try to survive as long as possible to make the best score!

Design Interfaces

My main work on Perfect Dodge was to think about the interfaces. The objective was to go to the essential without losing information. The colors of the interface are designed to be easily interchangeable, as we wanted to add color packs that the players can buy on the shop.

Create Patterns

With the pool of enemies that we created for the game, we made patterns, classified depending on pacing (difficulty VS rhythm). The main challenge was to balance these patterns to be enough challenging and varied, but not too punitive. We also think about the transitions between each pattern and how they are selected (depending on the current difficulty and time spent in-game).
